This month will see a great deal of green up, especially the further South you are. Grab your shoes because green is on it’s way!
To Do List
- Mow the lawn, even if it doesn’t need it – this will make the lawn look better and you feel better
- Spot spray or pull up any weeds that may have popped up
- If you have significant green up then go ahead and scalp your lawn this month and dethatch/scarify
- Apply a balanced fertilizer like a 10-10-10 or 13-13-13 – set the stage for an awesome summer
- When it warms the bugs come out – apply an insecticide
- Feed the soil
- Broadcast spray for weeds only if you have massive weed infestation
