September
Coming out of August your lawn should be a beautiful green! September often brings cooler temps, and growth activity could begin to slow depending on your region.

To Do List
- Apply Pre-Emergent!! (See Prodiamine Calculator)✨
- Last month should have been your last granular fertilization with slow release
- Continue to apply liquid fertilization weekly or every two weeks as you’d like
- Apply an insecticide as needed, armyworms are still moving
- Fungus has been an issue in the South so spray another round of preventative fungicide
- Mow as often as possible (2-3 times per week)
- If you’re in the lower southern states and still have good growth then this month will be your last application of PGR
- Spot spray or pull up any weeds that may have popped up
- Feed the soil – apply a monthly dose of soil amendments
